Adobe Spark offers three products: Spark Post, Spark Page, and Spark Video.
With Spark Post, you and your students can design:
- cards
- book covers
- flyers
- posters
- logos
- invitations
With Spark Page, your students can create a webpage to teach others about what they’ve learned or to showcase their school work in an e-portfolio. You can communicate with parents and students or teach lessons with engaging content. It’s easy to add text, images, and videos to create a polished webpage. No graphic design experience needed!
With Spark Video, you and your students can create videos easily – and add your own voiceovers! If you need a little help getting started, watch the how-to-tutorial pops up automatically before you begin to create your video.
The sharing and social aspects of Adobe Spark will give you the opportunity to teach your students about online privacy and good digital citizenship. You and your students can publish your work and share it, choose not to display your names, or choose not to allow your published links to be discoverable on search engines. Unfortunately, there is not yet a collaboration feature for students to work together to create a page, post, or video. Hopefully, that feature will be added in the near future.
There’s so many creative options and choices in Adobe Spark. I guarantee that once you and your students start using the tools, you’ll be inspired and will want to use it more.
If you need more convincing, check out Adobe Spark in the Classroom and the Adobe Education Exchange to connect with other educators and learn how to get started using Adobe Spark in your classroom.
